MOVEMENT SIX - Piano solo from a longer orchestra piece called "Backwards Maps" with new melody and string section. THE SHINIEST SHOES - Narrative stolen from a piece in Don W. Seven's BABY SUE magazine called "God's Little Lessons". Madonna appears via a sample from The Immaculate Collection's version of "Like a Prayer". THE CHRISTMAS EVE BLINDED ON WINE BLUES - Recorded 12.24.89 while intoxicated on cheap boxed wine left over from a X-MAS party at work, which I decided to take artistic licence with. May well be the whitest blues jam ever recorded. (2008 NOTE : DO NOT LISTEN TO THIS SONG. IT IS BORING AND STUPID AND IS ONLY INCLUDED TO AVOID BEING REVISIONIST.) THE RADIO IS MELTING - Shameless WEEN rip-off. (2008 NOTE : This song contains the funkiest 8 Bars of guitar soloing I have ever recorded.) S.T.W.W. - Bishop Sheen compels you. Solvei Stedman - vocals MEGALOMANIASSHOLE - Yes, yes. NO FUN - (2008 NOTE : Uncleared samples were all the rage in the mid 90's. I owned a fancy sampler, so I sampled some stuff.) THE RETRO SUITE - "Convoy" was the first 45 I ever owned at age 6."D.S.L." is "Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds" played backward, starting at the back of the score & moving to the front. Then, flip the tape over and you get L.S.D.! I have no 1995 or 2008 explanation of the reason for recording "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road" except maybe to say that this whole medley was inspired by listening toTodd Rundgren's "A Wizard...A True Star". You know...it has that bad oldies medley. SMELLY TONGUES - Residents cover.Solvei Stedman - vocals (GOIN' TO THE ) TITTY BAR - Recorded Live At South Dakota Public Radio, with Mike Myers on drums. Bass & Piano overdubbed later.
